[Pàipear. Scottish Gaelic] n.
: from English paper, Latin papÿrus
Pàipear is the soul of Rat Hill. From vintage Southwest art magazines, re-imagined mail catalogs, Japanese Chiyogami paper, to printed Italian paper and hand-marbled paper from around the world; anything can be covered and made unique with a layer of beautiful paper. I am honored to use the artistic works of amazing marbling artists. These artists are known for their craft: Jemma Lewis (Wiltshire, UK), Emily Romero (Pennsylvania, USA), Cherryl Brunel (London, UK), Marbling Factory (Paris, FR), Marbling Magpie {Anna Brown} (Harlow, UK), and Renato Crepaldi (Brazil, South America).
